Maintenance Technician – Hannover/Hamburg

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician for Bloq.it, you will ensure the reliable operation of our smart locker network across the Hannover and Hamburg regions. You will work on‑site, travelling to customer locations to perform mechanical and electrical repairs, conduct functional tests, and resolve software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site mechanical repairs and troubleshoot package lockers using a company vehicle.
• Conduct functional tests, repair and connect low‑voltage components, and verify electrical installation quality.
• Handle remote software fault reports for lockers in Germany with technical team support.
• Document interventions, prepare post‑maintenance reports, and recommend improvements.
• Provide reactive assistance according to SLA, travelling to various sites for priority repairs and routine maintenance.
• Assist with locker deployment: loading, installing, testing, and organizing warehouse inventory.
• Route and lay cables, secure low‑voltage connections, and ensure proper electrical installations.
• Support the Operations Manager with ad‑hoc tasks and complete required training sessions.

Required profile

• Good level of English and German.
• Proficiency in Excel and data‑entry tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills and patience with technical and non‑technical users.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
