Process Integrated Engineer – Manufacturing & Repair

About the role

The Process Integrated Engineer will lead process planning, optimisation and quality improvement for the production and after‑sales repair of robotic lawn mower products. You will work closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and service teams to create a seamless loop from design to mass production and field repair.

Key responsibilities

• Define process routing, station layout and SOPs for new products, ensuring manufacturability (DFM) and repairability (DFR).
• Develop, validate and deploy fixtures and test equipment; optimise fixture structures and test logic.
• Participate in automation station design and drive efficiency‑improvement projects.
• Analyse production and repair issues using fishbone, 8D and DMAIC; lead failure analysis and DOE experiments.
• Monitor process KPIs, identify risks and implement preventive actions.
• Reduce cycle time, labour cost and rework through process optimisation; evaluate ROI of automation and cost of repair processes.
• Support R&D on DFM/DFR reviews and provide training/materials for service centres.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Process/Manufacturing Engineer in consumer electronics, smart hardware or electromechanical products.
• Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) from design to mass production; after‑sales repair experience is a plus.
• Ability to read technical documentation in English; Chinese language proficiency required.
