Produktionsleiter – Surface Protection

About the role

MAAS Aviation is seeking a Production Manager for Surface Protection to lead daily manufacturing activities at its Hamburg facility. The role is on‑site, full‑time, and focuses on delivering high‑quality surface protection for aircraft while maintaining efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all surface‑protection production processes to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Manage production teams, allocate resources, and plan workforce requirements.
• Organise maintenance activities and ensure equipment reliability.
• Enforce safety, environmental (ISO14001) and quality standards throughout the shop floor.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and other departments to align production with company objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production management, process optimisation and resource planning.
• Strong knowledge of surface‑protection techniques, quality assurance and safety regulations.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in production, engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the aerospace or aircraft‑painting industry is a plus.
