Reverse Operator – Returns Processing

About the role

The Reverse Operator is responsible for managing returned and exchanged products, ensuring accurate processing and documentation to support customer satisfaction and efficient inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify returned items against original orders and return authorizations.
• Document product condition, categorize returns (damaged, defective, customer remorse) and trigger appropriate disposition.
• Perform basic quality checks and troubleshooting on returned electronics and other goods to determine resale or repair needs.
• Update inventory management systems with return data, including status, location, and reason for return.
• Coordinate with quality control, repair teams, and warehouse staff for further processing.
• Prepare items for restocking, refurbishment, or disposal following established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations throughout the reverse logistics process.
• Identify and report recurring issues or trends in returned products.

Required profile

• Experience handling returned merchandise in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good communication skills for coordination with multiple internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy.
