Senior System Administrator (f/m/d)

About the role

As a Senior System Administrator at applike Group you will ensure the smooth operation of the office IT infrastructure and support a small, dynamic team. You will work across Mac OS and Windows environments, manage cloud‑based services, and help drive the company toward zero‑touch provisioning and ISO certification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from conception to delivery while coaching junior staff.
• Maintain network, Wi‑Fi, internet access, meeting‑room equipment and shared‑space tech.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware and software issues.
• Create and maintain documentation and tip‑pages in Confluence.
• Oversee the IT warehouse, including equipment set‑up and de‑commissioning.
• Manage security for over 400 workstations, both onsite in Hamburg and remotely.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and German.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or a comparable role.
• Hands‑on mentality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor colleagues.

Required skills

• Jamf (macOS device management).
• macOS and Windows operating system administration.
• Network security fundamentals.
• Confluence for knowledge‑base management.
