Account Executive – Remote (Germany)

About the role

AVIAN is looking for a remote Account Executive based in Germany to join its founding sales team. You will help industrial customers prevent fires and costly downtime by selling AI‑driven infrared monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle – from discovery, demo and ROI case to negotiation and close – across operations, safety, procurement and executive buyers.
• Generate and manage your own pipeline by prospecting plant managers, maintenance leaders and senior executives at high‑risk facilities.
• Build compelling business cases that translate operational pain into urgent financial arguments.
• Maintain post‑sale relationships, drive expansions within sites and across multiple facilities, and turn early successes into reference accounts.
• Provide market feedback to product, marketing and implementation teams to shape pricing and roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven track record closing complex B2B deals for technical products with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience building your own pipeline in a startup, scale‑up or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to grow accounts over years, not just quarters.
• Deep understanding of operational buyers such as plant managers, reliability leaders and safety directors.
• Highly structured work style with clean CRM data, honest forecasts and disciplined follow‑up.
• Based in Germany and willing to travel to customer sites, trade shows and team meetings.
