Android Engineer – Mobile App Development

About the role

We are looking for an Android Engineer to join our fast‑growing fintech team. You will help shape the mobile experience of Scalable Capital’s investment and banking platform, working on a product used by over one million clients across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces and features for our Android app.
• Take ownership of components, guiding them through the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
• Experiment with modern Android technologies and best practices, supported by senior team members.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code with a strong focus on quality and security.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience in Android development through internships, working‑student roles or personal projects.
• Strong analytical thinking and eagerness to understand both technical and product challenges.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
