Assistant Store Manager – Stock & Operations

About the role

As the Assistant Store Manager (Stock & Operations) you will be a key member of the store leadership team, ensuring the store is always ready for customers. You will combine inventory management, labor planning and visual merchandising to drive an efficient, safe and attractive retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of operational and visual processes across the store.
• Investigate inventory accuracy issues and work with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
• Maintain high visual standards on the sales floor using performance data.
• Manage sell‑through by ensuring accurate inventory counts and coordinating labor for product deliveries.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient daily operations.
• Represent the business in meetings and conference calls, partnering with the General Manager.
• Monitor budget, expenses and sell‑through metrics, contributing to quarterly business reviews and sales planning.
• Lead, coach and develop the Operations & Visual team, fostering ALO’s mission and guiding principles.
• Create effective work schedules in partnership with the General Manager.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to implement the ALO Sales and Service Model.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
