Construction Contracts Manager – Dresden

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a high‑profile, two‑year construction project in Dresden, Germany. The role involves overseeing specialist sub‑contract packages for laboratories, clean rooms, and chip manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site management, quality, and logistics teams.
• Oversee programme delivery, monitor progress and implement recovery plans.
• Manage all contractual obligations, including notices, delays, extensions of time and correspondence.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the client, design team, site teams and head office.
• Report regularly on project progress, risk, resources, safety and commercial performance.
• Work closely with the commercial team on cost control, variations and claims.
• Identify and mitigate project risks across all areas.
• Ensure appropriate resourcing and alignment with programme requirements.
• Drive quality standards and a right‑first‑time approach.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.

Required profile

• Senior construction professional with proven experience managing complex projects.
• Strong contractual knowledge and ability to handle notices, extensions and claims.
• Demonstrated capability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder management.
