Customer Support Agent (German/English)

About the role

Cardmarket is looking for a motivated Customer Support Agent who is fluent in German and English to assist our users with inquiries, disputes, and marketplace safety. You will be the first point of contact, helping to create a positive experience and building trust on our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries in German and English, providing clear and helpful assistance.
• Review disputes, identify suspicious activity, and support enforcement of platform policies.
• Mediates between buyers and sellers to find fair, practical solutions.
• Maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace by applying sound judgment and independent decision‑making.

Required profile

• Fluent German (C2) and English (C1); optional French or Spanish (B1).
• Passion for trading card games and familiarity with online trading platforms.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer support.
• Based in Berlin with a valid German work permit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and standard office applications.
