Director Project Management

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Project Management to lead global, cross‑functional teams within Infineon’s GaN Systems Business Line. You will drive complex GaN technology and product development projects from concept to end‑of‑life, ensuring efficient processes and clear communication across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global, cross‑functional project teams for GaN technology and product development (D‑process) from concept through end‑of‑life.
• Facilitate decision‑making, maintain smooth communication, and align all stakeholders.
• Challenge and improve existing processes to achieve faster, leaner, and more efficient outcomes.
• Oversee budgets, risk management, and target achievement across all project phases.
• Drive lean project‑management improvements.
• Represent projects at Infineon board level.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including 6+ years in project management of technology or multi‑chip packaged products.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross‑functional technology projects with multiple stakeholders across sites and organisations.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and ability to report to division or company board level.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• GaN wafer manufacturing processes (epitaxy, gate‑stack formation, ohmic contacts, passivation, backend interconnects).
• Experience with PLM and project‑management tools.
