Electrical Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead on‑site electrical works for a high‑profile data centre project in Frankfurt. You will ensure that all installations meet technical specifications, safety standards and tight project timelines in a fast‑paced, hyperscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical contractors, subcontractors and vendors on‑site, guaranteeing compliance with drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Enforce strict Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) protocols and implement quality‑control plans to achieve high‑standard installation and testing.
• Develop and maintain the electrical construction schedule, using look‑ahead planning to track milestones and avoid delays.
• Review electrical drawings, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with design teams on MV/LV distribution, generators, switchgear and UPS systems.
• Audit and support testing and commissioning activities for final client handover.
• Provide regular, often daily, progress updates to the project manager and client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or a completed technical apprenticeship.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably within data centres or other mission‑critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, high‑voltage systems and applicable electrical building codes.
• Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project or similar construction‑management software.
• Proven leadership, communication and subcontractor‑management abilities.
