Global Commercial Director – Event Agency (French speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a Global Commercial Director to lead the commercial function of our event agency. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the agency’s growth strategy, drive international business development and ensure commercial excellence across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop international business development and commercial teams.
• Define and execute a global commercial growth strategy.
• Identify priority markets, sectors, clients and high‑value opportunities.
• Build a data‑driven commercial function with strong pipeline management, forecasting and conversion discipline.
• Open senior‑level client conversations and support strategic opportunities.
• Foster a high‑performance commercial culture based on accountability and results.
• Champion smarter ways of working, including AI, technology and data to improve effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership to align commercial priorities with broader business goals.
• Oversee commercial marketing assets, proposals, case studies and market‑facing content.

Required profile

• Significant commercial leadership experience within an event or experiential agency.
• Proven success driving international business growth through data‑informed decision‑making.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of pipeline management, agency economics, forecasting and KPI‑driven growth.
