Head of DIY – International Sales

About the role

We are seeking a Head of DIY – International Sales to lead the development and growth of the DIY channel for a leading European premium manufacturer of flooring and interior building products. The role will be based in Germany and involves frequent international travel to manage key retailer relationships and drive market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the international DIY sales strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Manage and deepen relationships with major DIY retailers and strategic key accounts across Europe and new markets.
• Lead commercial negotiations, tenders and framework agreements to secure profitable contracts.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to optimise commercial performance and product offering.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in e‑commerce and omnichannel retail to enhance sales reach.

Required profile

• Senior sales or commercial leadership experience in flooring, building materials, interiors or related industries.
• Proven track record selling to large DIY retail chains across Europe.
• Demonstrated success managing key accounts and complex commercial negotiations.
