Hiring Specialist / HR Recruiter

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Hiring Specialist / HR Recruiter to join Q’s fast‑growing team in Berlin. You will own the full‑cycle recruitment process, partner with senior leaders and help shape our talent pipeline for engineering, product and business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for all open positions, from kickoff with hiring managers to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive sourcing on LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, defence networks and other channels.
• Design, refine and implement structured interview processes and assessment frameworks.
• Collaborate with C‑level executives and team leads to define role profiles, hiring needs and timelines.
• Maintain and optimise our employer branding on LinkedIn, job boards and at career events.
• Administer the ATS, track recruiting KPIs and report on pipeline health and time‑to‑hire.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience that reflects Q’s mission and culture.

Required profile

• University degree in Psychology, Business, HR Management or equivalent hands‑on recruiting experience.
• At least 2 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high‑growth tech start‑up or scale‑up.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates using data‑driven methods.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands‑on execution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
