HR Business Partner – Plant Level (75-100% FTE)

About the role

Holcim is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its Heinsberg plant. You will act as both a strategic advisor and an operational HR specialist, ensuring smooth people processes across recruitment, payroll, development, performance, and labor relations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the Plant Manager on recruitment decisions and manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate handling and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to guarantee seamless integration of new hires.
• Ensure accurate and timely data submission to the external payroll provider and oversee vacation, absence, and working‑time administration.
• Organise professional training programmes, support career development, succession planning and talent management.
• Guide managers through the performance management cycle, including appraisals and bonus processes.
• Maintain compliance with German labour regulations and company policies while collaborating with the works council.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of German labour law and collective bargaining frameworks.
• Ability to work closely with plant leadership, employees and works council representatives.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills, with a focus on delivering practical HR solutions.
