HR Controller (f/m/d)

About the role

We are seeking an HR Controller to join our corporate HR Controlling team at our Mannheim headquarters. The role provides high‑quality financial insights for HR, supports budgeting and forecasting, and helps drive data‑driven decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full budgeting and forecasting cycle, preparing scenarios, analysing cost drivers and developing planning templates.
• Prepare HR reports and management dashboards, including KPI analytics, variance analysis and commentary for leadership.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliations and quality checks across HR systems and reporting environments.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR controlling processes, reporting standards and KPI logic, including Anaplan reporting developments.
• Execute trend, variance and performance analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Manage end‑to‑end invoice processes, verify invoices, allocate costs and coordinate with Finance.
• Communicate KPI definitions, reporting structures and analytical insights to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, HR, Economics, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
• Initial experience in controlling, financial analysis or HR analytics is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to communicate data effectively.
• Proactive, structured and reliable working style with strong ownership.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment and manage multiple topics in parallel.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan.
• Experience with HR systems like SuccessFactors.
• Interest in analytics platforms.
