IT Support Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our modern workplace environment. The role blends hands‑on technical support with system administration across Microsoft 365, virtualization, and Windows‑based infrastructure. You will help keep our users productive while exploring AI‑driven improvements to IT processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, and network issues and resolve tickets efficiently.
• Escalate complex problems to Tier 2 or other specialist teams following defined procedures.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for device management, security policies, and app deployment.
• Support Exchange Online, including user provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic VM tasks in VMware ESXi environments.
• Maintain Windows Server services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
• Document IT procedures and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Procure, configure, and deploy new IT hardware and software in line with security standards.
• Identify AI use cases for support automation and adopt AI‑enabled tools where appropriate.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Service‑oriented mindset with clear communication skills.
• Interest in emerging AI technologies and their application to IT operations.
