Materials Management Manager (m/w/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Management Manager (m/w/d) to lead the planning, procurement and storage of raw materials, semi‑finished and finished goods at our Hof site. The role ensures seamless production flow and reliable delivery to customers by continuously improving planning processes and managing supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and adjust MRP parameters to maximise delivery reliability while optimising inventory levels.
• Develop demand‑driven call‑off concepts, shorten lead times and guarantee continuous supply through effective supplier management.
• Control and optimise inventory of raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Coordinate material flow together with the Head of Logistics and drive logistics and process improvements.
• Participate in the SIOP process and provide daily reporting on material status.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Several years of experience in procurement, warehousing or supply‑chain functions, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management.
• Good command of English for an international environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or comparable ERP system).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
