Procurement Manager – Integrated Systems

About the role

Proxima Fusion is building the next generation of fusion power plants and needs a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing for integrated systems and manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with engineering teams to select partners, negotiate contracts and ensure successful delivery, testing and commissioning of complex technical packages.

Key responsibilities

• Own procurement for integrated systems, manufacturing equipment and supplier‑designed technical packages.
• Develop sourcing strategies for advanced technical systems such as heating, cryogenics, vacuum and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with engineering to select the right suppliers and integrate them into system designs.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and long‑term reliability.
• Oversee delivery, testing and commissioning of procured equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement of complex, high‑tech equipment.
• Strong ability to work with engineering teams on design‑integrated sourcing.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Capacity to manage supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle.
