Quality Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality strategy and “right first time” delivery across a diverse portfolio of construction projects for a leading international construction and engineering firm. Based in Frankfurt, you will embed robust quality systems throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver project quality strategies for live projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Design and implement quality assurance processes to prevent defects.
• Establish and manage quality control procedures, including Inspection & Test Plans, sign‑offs and hold points.
• Conduct inspections, audits and reviews to verify adherence to specifications.
• Review and approve supplier and contractor quality plans.
• Maintain relationships with supply‑chain partners to guarantee material and workmanship quality.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and provide regular stakeholder reporting.
• Identify and mitigate quality‑related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Deliver training and promote quality awareness across project teams.
• Support successful project hand‑over with complete quality records.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience in a quality‑focused role within construction or the built environment.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and quality management systems.
• Experience implementing QA/QC processes on complex construction projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality auditing procedures.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycles and construction methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capability.

What we offer

• Competitive salary €90,000‑€110,000 per year plus additional package.
