Recruiter & People Operations Coordinator

About the role

Join a fast‑growing, T‑1 VC‑backed mobility startup as the second member of the People & Talent function. Working directly with the Head of People, you will help shape a high‑trust, data‑driven HR operation for a company that currently employs 75+ people across three locations and 14 stores in Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Eliminate manual HR processes by improving Notion hygiene, setting up HRIS, and automating workflows.
• Own end‑to‑end recruiting for a defined set of roles, acting as the primary liaison between candidates and hiring managers.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes to ensure smooth, scalable experiences.
• Maintain compliance by preparing employment contracts, certificates, references, and other documentation across all sites.
• Research, benchmark, and implement employee benefits based on data.
• Develop employer‑brand content and compelling job ads; support paid‑channel efforts when needed.
• Identify gaps or broken processes, propose solutions, and execute improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in a startup environment or with people‑systems (internships count).
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to close tasks without follow‑up.
• Fluent German (C2) and professional‑level English.
• Systems‑thinking mindset; comfortable building repeatable processes.
• Independent, discreet handling of sensitive information, and able to thrive amid ambiguity.
