Regional Medical Advisor – EU & International

About the role

The Regional Medical Advisor will support ViiV Healthcare’s mission to end the HIV epidemic by providing medical expertise across EU and International markets. You will act as a bridge between the business and medical teams, ensuring that medical strategies are aligned with regional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide therapy‑area input and leverage existing medical platforms across EU and International regions.
• Lead implementation and support of Medical Affairs processes and projects.
• Represent the business voice in transversal prioritisation exercises and orchestrate regional prioritisation.
• Establish and improve communication with Local Operating Companies (LOCs).
• Conduct impact assessments and support roll‑out of new processes with Business Operations Leads.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert to embed innovative medical processes in regional teams.
• Assist LOCs with Investigator‑Sponsored Study (ISS) submissions and collaborate on Real‑World Evidence and implementation studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, PharmD, MD or PhD in a scientific discipline.
• Proven experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Knowledge and experience in HIV.
• Demonstrated project‑management or operational experience.
• High initiative, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to diverse cultures.
