Senior Manager EMEA Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Manager EMEA Manufacturing will lead financial planning, reporting and cost control for manufacturing sites across Europe. You will work closely with local MBC teams and global finance to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long‑term financial projections.
• Perform variance analysis of manufacturing, labour and purchase costs versus standards and recommend corrective actions.
• Direct month‑end closing to deliver accurate and timely financial reports.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and audit standards.
• Participate in EMEA target setting, provide site targets and coordinate reporting requirements with local and global teams.
• Maintain accurate standard cost calculations in SAP ERP, including hourly rates, loss factors, routings and purchase prices.
• Develop, analyse and monitor production‑related KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and manage consolidated budgets (costs and Capex), long‑range plans and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Lead a team of four managers and working students.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in a similar finance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis and IFRS.
• Cost accounting expertise and ability to interpret legal and financial documents.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines and communicate effectively with all stakeholder groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
