Shop Content & Merchandising Intern

About the role

As a Shop Content & Merchandising Intern you will support the optimisation of product presentation in Westwing’s online shop. You will work closely with Merchandising Managers and cross‑functional teams to enhance the digital shopping experience. The internship lasts up to six months and is based in Munich.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise on‑site product presentation to align with visual storytelling standards.
• Create and update digital content that showcases design‑focused products.
• Perform operational tasks such as new product checks and data validation.
• Support the development of on‑site strategies and conduct benchmarking analyses.
• Ensure compliance with on‑site guidelines and maintain consistency across the shop.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in design, marketing, communication or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self‑driven work ethic.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and propose creative improvements.
• First professional experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
