Social Media Content Creator

About the role

As a Social Media Content Creator you will turn products, campaigns and live moments into engaging videos that resonate on Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms. Based in Munich, you will work for one year to shape Westwing’s visual voice and connect with a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop original, social‑first video ideas for campaigns, product launches and events.
• Present on‑camera, moderate interviews and host social formats.
• Film, edit and post‑produce short‑form videos from storyboard to final cut, applying sound, music, text and effects.
• Monitor cultural trends and platform shifts to keep content ahead of the curve.
• Experiment with AI‑driven tools to streamline ideation, production and editing.
• Collaborate closely with Social Media, Brand, Marketing and Creative Production teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in social‑media content creation, marketing or related fields.
• Strong creative instinct and deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok and digital culture.
• Excellent storytelling ability with a focus on emotion, aesthetics and audience behaviour.
• Collaborative mindset and confidence working across multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
