Technical Data Project Manager – Electrical System Installation (ESI)

About the role

Join Airbus' Technical Data team in Hamburg as a Technical Data Project Manager for Electrical System Installation (ESI). You will support airlines and operators by delivering digital solutions for aircraft maintenance documentation, contributing to the end‑to‑end production chain.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central wiring data focal point for ESI, coordinating engineering teams, suppliers, design offices, and airlines.
• Standardize and harmonize transnational ways of working across interfaces to ensure seamless information flow.
• Lead innovative digital projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise ESI services, authoring tasks, and documentation processes.
• Advance the deployment of modern digital design and manufacturing principles within the technical data domain.
• Ensure aircraft safety and high customer satisfaction for the in‑service fleet by providing timely, accurate, and digitally accessible technical data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or Electro‑technics.
• Several years of professional experience in Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) Architecture.
• Proven track record in project management, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
