Test & Verification Engineer – Environmental

About the role

Stark is looking for a Test & Verification Engineer – Environmental to lead the physical qualification of its unmanned systems under extreme conditions. You will work in a fast‑moving R&D environment, planning and executing full‑system environmental test campaigns that meet military standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan, prepare and run holistic environmental test campaigns for complete systems.
• Monitor mechanical, electrical, electromagnetic (EMC) and high‑voltage behavior during vibration, shock, temperature and other extreme conditions.
• Select, coordinate and supervise external test laboratories and service providers, while also building and operating in‑house test capabilities.
• Operate data acquisition (DAQ) hardware and specialized testing software to record results and perform fault analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to conduct rapid root‑cause analyses and feed design improvements back into the product.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of military qualification standards such as MIL‑STD‑810, MIL‑STD‑461 or AECTP 200/400/600.
• Ability to think across disciplines and integrate mechanical, electrical and electromagnetic test data.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware or PCB failures during environmental testing.
