AI Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are pleez, a pre‑Series A startup helping restaurants maximise sales on high‑stakes delivery platforms. As an AI Full Stack Engineer you will build our intelligent automation and conversational platform using the latest LLM technology, moving from 0 to 1 and delivering measurable impact for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end features for an AI‑driven automation and conversational platform.
• Implement backend services with Node.js and TypeScript and frontend interfaces with Vue.js.
• Integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI API) into functional applications, handling prompt engineering and API calls.
• Work with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non‑relational databases to store and retrieve data.
• Ensure LLM reliability through structured outputs, guardrail strategies, validation, fallback mechanisms, and safety/abuse handling.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate business goals into technical solutions that drive restaurant sales.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of proven full‑stack development experience or equivalent personal projects.
• Strong drive demonstrated through personal projects, open‑source contributions, or rapid prototypes.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and integrating LLMs in production‑grade applications.
• Familiarity with building guardrails and safety mechanisms for AI‑driven products.
