Commercial Solutions Engineer

About the role

Dash0 is looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and prospects. You will bridge product capabilities with real‑world outcomes, designing, demonstrating, and validating observability solutions built on OpenTelemetry and cloud‑native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native stacks.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0’s technical differentiators.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred solution.
• Provide architecture guidance, best‑practice recommendations, and telemetry data‑modeling advice.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Partner with Product Management to feed technical insights into the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands‑on experience with instrumentation, telemetry ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform‑engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to both engineers and decision‑makers.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
