DevOps Engineer (All Genders)

About the role

As a core member of the Infra & DevSecOps team at STARK, you will design and maintain the technical bridge between software, firmware, and physical infrastructure. Your work ensures that autonomous systems run reliably across edge devices, micro‑controllers, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Create and optimise GitLab CI/CD pipelines for cross‑compiled and embedded builds.
• Automate build‑test‑deploy workflows for on‑premises edge hardware and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Apply DevSecOps principles to secure and trace software delivery for edge computing.
• Manage artifact lifecycles and multi‑architecture containerisation using OCI and Docker.
• Develop and maintain build and deployment scripts in Python and Bash.
• Collaborate with firmware and electronics teams to integrate micro‑controllers, sensor boards, and autopilot hardware.
• Establish secure links between on‑premises infrastructure and GCP, integrating identity providers and Zero‑Trust controls.
• Orchestrate migration of cloud workloads to on‑premises infrastructure while controlling egress costs and latency.

Required profile

• Degree in Software Engineering (BSc or MSc) or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of experience in EdgeOps, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication and team‑first attitude.
