DevSecOps / DevOps Engineer – Cloud Security & Automation

About the role

Caspar Health is building a digital rehabilitation clinic where technology directly supports patient care. As a DevSecOps/DevOps Engineer you will shape the security and reliability of our cloud platform, enabling therapists to deliver life‑changing therapy remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the alert lifecycle: triage security alerts, coordinate remediation, and build systems to prevent recurrence.
• Champion “shift‑left” by embedding automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Fortify our AWS environment using Terraform and Terragrunt, establishing security‑as‑code best practices.
• Automate regulatory compliance, turning guardrails into code within the Platform Squad.
• Secure core data services (PostgreSQL, Redis) and manage a zero‑trust Kubernetes environment.
• Mentor development teams on early vulnerability identification and remediation.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in cloud security, especially AWS, with a security‑first mindset.
• Passion for automation – prefers Terraform or Python scripts over manual work.
• Experience bridging development and operations, helping teams adopt security without slowing delivery.
• Solid DevOps background ready to evolve into a full DevSecOps specialist.
