European Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are seeking a European Customer Service Representative to join Syensqo’s Composite Materials GBU. You will manage a defined portfolio of customers across commercial and supply‑chain functions, ensuring smooth order processing and strong liaison between customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from entry to invoice, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments such as planning, logistics and quality.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and align it with pricing and contracts.
• Handle customer portals, including order uploads, KPI responses and documentation.
• Support complaint, rebate and deduction processes in close collaboration with relevant teams.
• Ensure export compliance and complete, accurate documentation.
• Monitor and improve customer KPIs through data‑driven decisions and proactive issue resolution.

Required profile

• Secondary school qualifications (GCSEs/A‑levels); a degree in Business, Communications or related field is strongly preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficient in one additional language (French, Spanish or German).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP, for order entry, pricing, data management and customer portal handling.
• Strong knowledge of export compliance, documentation, pricing, invoicing, complaint resolution and deduction processes.
• Experience managing complex orders, tracking/reporting KPIs and understanding units of measure, conversion rates and shipping documentation.
