Full Stack Engineer

About the role

wedium GmbH is a fast‑growing Berlin‑based startup building a healthy short‑video social media platform. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in a full‑time hybrid or remote capacity. You will help shape the next generation of a mobile app that prioritises verification, youth protection and human‑driven community management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end and back‑end components of the mobile social media application.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement and deploy software solutions.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimise user interfaces for performance and responsiveness.
• Integrate various parts of the technology stack to deliver a seamless user experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑stack development, covering both back‑end and front‑end work.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for working in a hybrid environment.
