Head of Human Resources (Europe)

About the role

The Head of Human Resources leads the full people agenda across Europe and additional global regions. This senior position designs and executes a comprehensive HR strategy that supports growth, strengthens leadership capability, and ensures operational excellence across multiple European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a people strategy tailored to diverse European markets while ensuring global alignment.
• Lead organizational design and structural planning to support expansion, efficiency, and cross‑border collaboration.
• Strengthen a unified culture across Europe, respecting local cultural nuances.
• Build leadership pipelines, oversee performance frameworks, and guide talent acquisition for European markets.
• Ensure full compliance with EU and non‑EU European labor laws, collective agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee competitive and equitable compensation and benefits structures across jurisdictions.
• Drive digitalisation and data‑driven decision‑making in HR operations.
• Manage complex employee‑relations issues and lead change‑management initiatives during transformation.
• Coordinate pan‑European HR practices and partner with senior executives to support business expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including oversight of HR in multiple European countries.
• Strong knowledge of EU labor law, country‑specific HR regulations and works councils.
• Proven track record in HR transformation, organisational development and executive stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural, multilingual teams.
• Excellent communication skills and strong leadership presence.
