HR Generalist – People Operations

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our People Operations team and support the fast‑growing e‑commerce business. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding, managing employment contracts, and helping to shape HR processes in a dynamic, flat‑hierarchy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Create, review, and manage employment contracts, contract changes, and other HR‑related documents in line with legal requirements.
• Help define, improve, and organise HR processes.
• Advise and support employees with HR‑related questions.
• Maintain accurate employee files, master data, and HR databases.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal company policies.
• Collaborate with the People & Organization team and other stakeholders to implement HR strategies and improve cross‑departmental processes.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship or university degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in People Operations or HR Management.
• Good knowledge of German labour law.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• High motivation, commitment and a hands‑on attitude.

Required skills

• Confident use of HR software (e.g., Personio).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
