Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Runtech Systems Oy is seeking a Production Manager to lead its Kotka manufacturing unit. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day production support, continuous improvement, and ensuring safety, quality and financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Kotka production site, overseeing financial, operational, quality and safety goals.
• Drive continuous improvement, process development and overall productivity.
• Develop and optimise the order‑to‑delivery process in collaboration with customer service, procurement and material planning.
• Act as the site safety manager, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Support and develop the production team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, customer‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent IT proficiency.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of 5S lean tools.
• Advanced IT skills.
