Senior Designer – Maternity Cover

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to lead and elevate the visual identity of Design Hotels across all platforms. This maternity‑cover position will join the in‑house design team, creating compelling digital, print and social media content while guiding projects from concept to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of creative projects across digital and print, including branding, campaigns, social media, websites, packaging and presentations.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, PR and digital teams to translate objectives into visually compelling concepts.
• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels.
• Present concepts to stakeholders, incorporate feedback and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and creative standards.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools and emerging technologies to innovate output.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic creative planning.
• Design for Design Hotels events – digital invitations, on‑site print collateral, spatial design.
• Mentor junior designers and support their development.

Required profile

• Strong design skills in typography, layout, branding, logo design and research.
• Good knowledge of design for digital and print media.
• Expertise in image curation and visual storytelling.
• Keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Effective communication, able to take direction and feedback.
• Excellent time‑management, handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Structured, independent working style with a positive attitude.
• Passion for culture, design, hospitality, travel and art.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication or related field.
• 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably agency or in‑house.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding and multi‑platform design expertise.
