Senior Software Engineer, Android Growth Squad

About the role

We are looking for an Android engineer who will own the full growth surface area in the World App. This is a long‑term role where you will drive core Android growth priorities, not just build a single feature.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android features that drive user incentives such as invites and rewards.
• Implement and iterate on user‑lifecycle components including onboarding, notification centre, and retention experiments.
• Build growth modalities like “Find an Orb” and other mechanisms that accelerate user acquisition.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and economics teams in Munich and San Francisco.
• Monitor performance metrics and contribute to scaling World’s north‑star metrics.

Required profile

• Senior‑level mobile engineer with a strong focus on Android.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑intensity product teams.
• Ability to own end‑to‑end features and drive them from concept to production.
• Excellent collaboration skills across distributed teams.
