Senior Software Engineer

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, cloud‑native platforms. You will collaborate with product teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑performance services that drive the company’s mission‑driven impact.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and own scalable, distributed systems and define future cloud‑native architectures.
• Build, review, and maintain mission‑critical production services primarily using Go.
• Advance DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
• Ensure reliability, security, and observability of all shipped features.
• Manage technical debt and make strategic architectural trade‑offs.
• Design proofs‑of‑concept and support complex client integrations.
• Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, design docs, and hands‑on support for global teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex software systems at scale.
• Expertise in writing idiomatic, concurrent, and performant Go code.
• Strong background with Kubernetes and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Deep experience with managed services, networking, and security on AWS or GCP.
• Proven ability to lead architectural decisions and mentor engineering teams.
