Senior Vehicle Dynamics Engineer – Europe (Munich)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to lead chassis performance development for European market vehicles. The role will own the full V‑model lifecycle from benchmarking to series production support, acting as the main technical bridge between headquarters and European teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and benchmark vehicle dynamics targets, tune brand DNA and validate performance regionally.
• Lead chassis tuning and calibration, including suspension, steering, dampers, tyres, bushings and anti‑roll bars.
• Develop and maintain chassis standards, processes and foster cross‑functional/global collaboration.
• Coordinate technical alignment with suppliers and define requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 10+ years of vehicle dynamics experience, with at least 8 years at European or North American OEMs.
• Led 2–3 full vehicle dynamics programs from concept to start‑of‑production.
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus.
• EU work authorization and willingness to be based in Munich.

Required skills

• Multi‑body dynamics analysis.
• Professional subjective vehicle evaluation.
• Proficiency with CANape, INCA, ADAMS and CarMaker.
• Experience with chassis test tools.
