Shift Leader – Restaurant Operations

About the role

Papa John's is looking for an energetic Shift Leader to supervise daily restaurant operations, ensure product quality, and deliver excellent customer service. You will manage a team during your shift, maintain compliance with company policies, and help drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all station activities, including dough management, portioning, and product preparation.
• Maintain product quality, food safety standards, and proper holding times.
• Provide immediate feedback, correct issues, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Manage cash handling, inventory levels, and loss prevention using company systems.
• Monitor labor and food costs, restaurant cleanliness, and overall performance metrics.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• ServSafe or equivalent food service certification (preferred).
• Previous restaurant shift‑lead experience is a plus.
• Stable employment history and ability to work 32+ hours, including nights and weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Required skills

• ServSafe or local food safety certification.
• Proficiency with the FOCUS System for performance tracking.
• Cash management and basic accounting skills.
• Inventory management and loss‑prevention techniques.
