SRE Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure (GCP/Kubernetes)

About the role

Join AUTODOC’s Cloud Infrastructure team as an SRE Engineer, responsible for the reliability and evolution of a portfolio of over 200 services running on Google Cloud Platform (GKE). You will work closely with developers to ensure high availability while building new infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for developers, handling service queries and SRE tasks.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure to guarantee scalability and uptime.
• Embed DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
• Research, prototype, and implement new infrastructure tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with the Automation team to create efficient CI/CD pipelines and custom workflows.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics (SLIs/SLOs) and keep documentation up to date.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to ensure 24/7 stability of mission‑critical services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration, especially Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
• Familiarity with SRE/DevOps methodologies such as CI/CD, IaC, and gitOps.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven research, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with relational and columnar databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse).
• Background in deploying and maintaining distributed high‑load systems.
