Technical SEO Lead

About the role

As Technical SEO Lead you will own the technical SEO strategy for one of Europe’s leading digital marketplaces. Working at the intersection of SEO, product and engineering, you will design and implement scalable solutions that boost organic growth across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the technical SEO roadmap based on impact, effort and business value.
• Set technical SEO standards for crawlability, indexability, internal linking, structured data and Core Web Vitals.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Evaluate trade‑offs between SEO, user experience and engineering effort.
• Provide technical leadership, reviews and guidance to the SEO team.
• Drive experimentation, monitoring and continuous improvement of SEO performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical SEO for large websites, platforms or marketplaces.
• Proven ability to work with product, engineering and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong prioritisation, stakeholder management and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Fluent English communication.

Required skills

• JavaScript SEO and technical SEO architecture.
• Core Web Vitals optimisation.
• Google Search Console, SEMrush, SISTRIX, Screaming Frog.
• GA4 and BigQuery (or similar data analysis tools).
• Experience with AI‑powered tools to improve SEO workflows.
