Training Analysis and Feedback Lead

About the role

The Training Analysis and Feedback Lead supports the Joint Multinational Readiness Center’s Operations Group by providing expert analysis of combat training exercises. This full‑time, on‑site position in Hohenfels, Germany, ensures that multinational units receive accurate, data‑driven feedback to improve readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Command, Control and Communications (C4I) systems that comprise the JMRC Instrumentation System (JMRC‑IS).
• Conduct pre‑exercise and recurring instrumentation checks for all BLUFOR and OPFOR assets.
• Develop data‑collection and scenario‑control plans, and cue Observer/Controllers during exercises.
• Observe maneuver, command and staff operations and provide real‑time feedback based on Battlefield Operating Systems.
• Analyze exercise outputs to generate automated After Action Reviews (AAR) and Take‑Home Packages for units from platoon to brigade level.
• Assess operational readiness of rotating training units throughout the exercise.
• Prepare and deliver written and oral briefings on unit capability and commander determinations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a related field with at least 3 years of specialized experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 6 years, or 10 years of specialized experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in combat training analysis, intelligence, maneuver, mobility, air‑defense, C2, and combat service support.
• Strong familiarity with U.S. Army doctrine, Combat Training Center methodology, and multinational training environments.
