VIE - HR Generalist (M/W/D)

About the role

This VIE position offers a unique opportunity to act as a local HR Business Partner in Germany, bridging the HR external partner in Hamburg, local managers, and the head office in Paris. You will work closely with the General Manager on HR strategy and compensation matters while supporting a workforce of around 40 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the link between the HR partner in Hamburg, local managers, and Paris headquarters.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on HR strategy, including compensation packages.
• Define and implement local HR strategies such as recruitment, onboarding, training plans, evaluation campaigns, compensation, and employee benefits.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to managers and employees, ensuring consistent application of policies.
• Prepare basic HR reporting and maintain workforce data.
• Support training and development activities aligned with business needs and budget.
• Contribute to internal HR communication and participate in HR projects and local initiatives.
• Liaise with head office and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with group policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Process Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in HR is appreciated.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient command of MS Office.
• Fluent in English; German at B2 level or willingness to learn daily.
• Must not be a citizen of the host country (Germany) as per VIE program rules.
