Construction Coordinator – Data Center Operations

About the role

CloudHQ is looking for an experienced Construction Coordinator to oversee construction activities within live tenant areas of its European data centre sites. The role requires a detail‑oriented, safety‑focused professional who can ensure work is planned, communicated and executed without disrupting critical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules for each site.
• Identify operational impacts and propose mitigation measures.
• Evaluate Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRAs) to guarantee minimal disruption, safety compliance, noise/vibration/dust control, fire prevention and proper electrical isolation (LOTO).
• Manage submission, tracking and approval of permits and MSRAs via tenant platforms.
• Attend critical works on‑site, monitor adherence to approved methods and safety procedures.
• Report risks such as dust, vibration or temperature fluctuations to operations teams.
• Coordinate permits, access scheduling and system shutdown approvals with tenant representatives.
• Ensure compliance with CloudHQ, local and EU safety regulations, PPE requirements and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct joint post‑construction inspections and verify that all modifications maintain infrastructure integrity before handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating construction in operational environments, preferably data centres.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict safety and environmental constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with operations teams, contractors and tenant representatives.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple European locations.
