About the role

The Head of Manufacturing & Product leads TRION’s cell‑to‑pack manufacturing operation in Dresden and drives the engineering of its battery product portfolio. This senior, hands‑on position combines technical expertise with operational leadership to scale a certified LFP cell and battery line to commercial volumes.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end performance of the Dresden manufacturing site, covering yield, throughput, quality, cost, safety and on‑time delivery.
• Lead the scale‑up programme, improving yield, process consistency and equipment reliability to reach commercial‑scale production.
• Manage the production team through the Production Manager and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
• Direct supplier qualification and technical supply‑chain decisions in partnership with the German GM.
• Hold final authority on shipping and quality release decisions.
• Lead product engineering functions including cell‑to‑pack integration, BMS, mechanical, electrical and software development.
• Deliver engineering required for product roadmap variants (form factor, voltage, capacity).
• Own certification pathways for new variants (CE, UN 38.3, IP67, E‑Mark/ECE R100, UL 1973, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).

Required profile

• Senior technical and operational leader with deep battery‑industry experience.
• Proven track record in cell‑manufacturing scale‑up and production leadership.
• Strong judgement to navigate Li‑ion cell production challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with commercial leadership on product strategy.
