Junior HR Expert – People & Organizational Development

About the role

Join Welthungerhilfe as a Junior Expert in People and Organizational Development, supporting the global HR POD team in shaping learning and career pathways for staff working in challenging environments. You will help drive innovative, data‑informed learning solutions while ensuring smooth onboarding and talent development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and enhance the Cornerstone Learning Management System, including analytics, process, and content optimization.
• Plan, organize, and manage the trainer‑led training portfolio.
• Support delivery of online onboarding programs (e‑learnings and live sessions) for new employees.
• Contribute to the design of forward‑looking learning concepts, such as AI‑enabled learning and future‑skill development.
• Co‑develop and pilot a global, modular talent development program.
• Provide guidance to managers and staff on individual development measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams worldwide and external partners.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Adult Learning, Education, Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in adult education and digital learning.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a multicultural, global setting.

Required skills

• Experience with Cornerstone LMS.
• Familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline.
• Content creation skills (video, podcast).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI (advantage).
