Principal Concept Engineer – Pre‑Sales Robotic Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Concept Engineer to lead pre‑sales robotic solutions. You will work closely with customers and sales teams to translate manufacturing challenges into modular automation concepts that demonstrate clear value.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers and sales to understand needs and develop tailored automation concepts.
• Convert requirements into technically sound, cost‑efficient robot automation designs.
• Prepare and deliver demos, simulations, and proof‑of‑value concepts.
• Act as the technical expert in sales conversations, simplifying complex robotics.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and operations teams to align schedules and deliverables.
• Capture customer insights to influence future product development.

Required profile

• Experience in technical pre‑sales, automation, robotics, or mechanical design.
• Strong proficiency in English and German.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with independence and adaptability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD programs, especially Autodesk Fusion.
• Experience using simulation tools for robotic systems.
